Quick & Dirty Thesis Feedback

April 3, 2018

I created a very simple, one-person's perspective of the performance for the Quick & Dirty Show. When the audience member pushes the button and continuously holds it down (as though demanding the audience member to actively request the story), the difficult story was told back to you.  I noticed during the Q&D that sometimes people would remove their hand when the story started to get difficult to hear.  This is the interaction I am looking for. There is still more to test in regards to the interaction for the audience, but this quick experiment was helpful to move forward with my initial thoughts on the interaction design.

Food for Thought

One other note that I received from the Q&D that I think is worth mentioning is that I need to warn individuals that there will be content around assault (sexual and other) and harassment before they enter the room and even potentially in the tickets that I distribute, so that everyone is well aware of the nature of the piece well before hand.
